How to Update Pricing for an Event

There are many reasons you may want to change your price for a paid event. 

• It's a good way to increase qualified clients.
• You might want to convert a free event to a paid event once you realize people are willing to pay for it. 
• Or you just consider an adjustment for the value you offer in that session.

In this article, we'll show you how to change the price for a paid event. To read more about Events, read this.

On your admin view, you can find your events in two places - the Dashboard and Events tab. The steps to update your price applies in both cases, but for this article we'll update the price via the Dashboard view. This is because it's the first place you land on when you log into your account.

From the screenshot above, we want to update the price for the event  "How to Start a Fashion Business" which is currently priced at N1000. 

STEPS

• Tap on "Dashboard" 
• Select the Event card you want to update
• Click on "Edit"

Next, 

The "Edit" button opens up the event details page, this is where you can change the price of the event. 

• Scroll down the Event Details page and change your price.

• Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap on "Continue"

Now, we have successfully updated the price. 

THINGS TO NOTE

• You can update your price as many times as you need. 
• If you change a paid group event to free, you'll need a personal Zoom account to host your event. Only 1:1 (free or paid) and paid Group events are hosted on Oddience.
